Practical and concise information on treating COVID continues to grow
While the IPCRG has its now well-established iQ&A service, it is great to see other resources being launched. One that caught our eye is the touchRESPIRATORY COVID-19 Hub, which aims to provide concise and practical information on both the treatment of COVID-19 and the impact on non-COVID-related care.
In this learning hub leading experts share their insights into the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the latest advances in vaccines and treatments. The modules on tobacco smoking, vaccination and the impact of COVID-19 on COPD and asthma are of particular interest. New content is also being added to the hub regularly.
Meanwhile, the IPCRG is releasing more iQ&A answers to questions generated by front-line members of our Sentinel Network. There are now 27 straightforward evidence-based answers, the most recent including flu vaccination alongside COVID boosters, Vaccine protection from severe disease and risk factors for long COVID. These should help front-line primary care workers by providing material that is useable in practice, action-oriented and based on the latest evidence.
You can contribute questions arising from current clinical practice by joining the IPCRG Sentinel Network, a group of global primary care clinicians who deal with patients on a regular basis. Both COVID and non-COVID questions are invited, and the network helps us in identifying both current and emerging and urgent challenges.
The IPCRG also shares new and interesting resources via social media, so follow us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and share what you feel is useful with your audience.
