Breathe Well Latest News

The Brazilian team, led by IPCRG colleagues, have now met twice with the Ministry of Health and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) in Nov 2020 and Mar 2021 to discuss the importance of chronic respiratory disease diagnosis and management in primary care. There is now a shared commitment to move this forward.   

Two of the Breathe Well studies were presented by Andy Dickens at Winter British Thoracic Society February 2021: Screening for undiagnosed COPD: a comparison of screening questionnaire test performance in two countries; Breathe Well Brazil and China.  Five abstracts have been accepted for the IPCRG 10th World Conference.
