Smoking is the most frequently identified risk factor in people with COPD. Consequently, smoking cessation plays a particularly important role. important in this context and should be encouraged in all people with COPD who remain smokers, constituting a fundamental step in slowing the progression of the disease. The use of smoking cessation leaflets plays a crucial role in raising awareness and encouraging participation in smoking cessation programs. Brochures serve as an accessible means of disseminating information, especially when designed with effective communication strategies. Nudge Approach brochures incorporating the EAST (Easy, Attractive, Social, Timely) framework significantly increased interest among occupational health professionals and smokers, with reading completion rates rising from 7% to 70.7% Educational materials such as brochures legitimize tobacco-related discussions in healthcare settings, increasing professionals' willingness to address tobacco use with patients. For this reason, an appealing leaflet for smoking cessation was created, which aims to provide support in a consultation that was created at the end of 2024.
