Dr Siti Nurkamilla Ramdzan

Dr. Siti Nurkamilla Ramdzan is a Family Medicine Specialist and Head of the Department of Primary Care Medicine at Universiti Malaya, with a focus on respiratory health, particularly childhood asthma. She earned her MBBS and advanced clinical training in Family Medicine from Universiti Malaya before completing a PhD in Global Health at the University of Edinburgh. Passionate about teaching and research,  she mentors trainees, chairs the Malaysian Primary Care Research Group, and leads the scientific committee for the 2024 Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia Conference. In addition to her work on asthma, she has published research in various areas of primary care and is currently leading efforts to implement a national school-based asthma guideline in Malaysia.
