Background
I am a dedicated lung function specialist involved in teaching, mentoring, and assessing spirometry students. My work includes developing training content, managing the lung function component of research projects, quality assuring spirometry results, and assessing children with asthma.
Professional Bio
I have an ICU nursing background and an Executive MBA. I have been teaching and mentoring spirometry and respiratory health related topics in Africa for 25 years. I manage, mentor, and quality assure spirometry for organisations on each continent and serve on various global spirometry committees
As a certified Asthma Educator, I run a private practice focusing on children with asthma, providing lung function assessments, education, and counselling. I also mentor new Respiratory Nurses in African countries.
I own and direct Education for Health Africa, offering occupational and primary health training across the continent. Our focus is humanitarian with a focus on providing ongoing support and mentorship.
Personal Note
Originally from Zimbabwe, I moved to South Africa at 18, settled in Durban, and am happily married with five children. My philanthropic outlook drives my academic, medical, and business pursuits, allowing me to serve others passionately.
