Boosting Research Careers
The IPCRG has been supporting people who are early in their research careers to gain experience and expertise for many years. Our role in research projects, education activity, and our conferences enable this help to be provided.
With a focus on low income countries, we aim to help build the capacity of local researchers. In turn, these researchers help us meet our aims of:
- Creating value local organisations by improving their confidence and competence in respiratory health
- Creating value for society by raising awareness of respiratory health and the impact it has amongst citizens and policy-makers and influencing the availability of good quality respiratory care.
- Creating value for people with respiratory disease by improving knowledge of disease, increasing the accuracy of diagnosis, reducing the variation in care and improving respiratory outcomes.
