IPCRG has led two educational projects funded by Global Bridges that have focused on teaching colleagues about treating tobacco dependence: Global Bridges Project Uganda, and Global Bridges Project Eastern Europe.

Global Bridges - Uganda

The IPCRG and our team in Uganda won one of 19 grants awarded through a partnership between Pfizer Independent Grants for Learning & Change (IGLC) and Global Bridges to increase tobacco cessation rates through healthcare professional training and advocacy in low- and middle-income countries.

Global Bridges - Eastern Europe

Teaching the teachers of primary healthcare professionals to treat tobacco dependence in four eastern European countries - Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and the Kyrgyz Republic.
